l   Mass production of graphene and its applications such as transparent conductive films (TCFs), phase change materials (PCMs) with enhanced thermal conductivity, lithium ion batteries, supercapacitors, OLEDs, etc.
l   FemtoTesla laser atomic magnetometers for biomedical applications.
l   Fabrication and laser scribing of CIGS thin film solar cells.
l   Optoelectronic and nano-materials and their applications.
l   Applications of ultrafast lasers in picosecond laser ultrasonics for
1.          characterization of nanometer thin films and superlattices;
2.          study of folded phonons and surface phonon modes in superlattices;
3.          characterization of RF acoustic resonators.
l   Two-photon-absorbed photo-polymerization for micro-device fabrication (photonic crystal).
